The Super Great is Fuso's flagship heavy-duty truck - the long-haul and construction workhorse above the Fighter. Rivals are the Hino Profia, Isuzu Giga and UD Quon.
Versions
- Axles: 4x2, 6x2, 6x4 and 8x4 (the 8x4 is the classic Japanese 25-tonne-class rigid truck).
- Tractor heads for semi-trailers.
- Bodies: dump, mixer, flatbed, aluminium wing, refrigerated and crane.
Most of our Super Great stock is very recent and low-kilometre, which is why prices are high: these are close to new trucks.
What to check on any Japanese truck
- Body type: flatbed (hira), box/van, aluminium wing, refrigerated, dump, tipper or crane. The body is often worth as much as the chassis.
- Mileage and hours: long-haul trucks cover big distances. Look at the auction sheet and service records; low-km nearly new trucks cost more but skip years of wear.
- Emissions kit: newer trucks use a diesel particulate filter (DPD/DPF) and many need AdBlue (urea). Make sure your market can supply and service them.
- Payload and licence: check the rated load in the listing against your local truck licence and axle-load rules.
- Steering side: Japanese trucks are right-hand drive. Some left-hand-drive countries restrict RHD trucks - check before buying.
Heavy-truck extras
Check the axle configuration against your road rules, and confirm shipping: heavy trucks go RoRo and the cost depends on size. We quote per truck.
The live table below counts how many of these trucks each country's age rule accepts. Truck freight depends on the body length and height, so we quote shipping per truck instead of showing an estimate - send us the stock number.
