The Canter is Japan's best-known light-duty truck, and most of the Canters we list are current-generation trucks with almost no mileage: dealer stock or freshly registered units from Japanese bodybuilders. That makes them one of the few commercial vehicles that clear even the strictest age limits.
Bodies and payloads
- Flatbed (hirabody): 2-ton and 3-ton, standard and long (10 ft and up), many with a low floor for easier loading.
- Dump (tipper): 2- and 3-ton dumps, often with an all-low-floor chassis.
- Double cab: six seats plus a short bed, for crews.
- Special bodies: cranes, refrigerated boxes and dry vans appear too. Ask us for the body maker's plate and spec sheet.
Duonic or manual?
Listings marked Automatic are the Duonic dual-clutch automated gearbox; the rest are 5-speed manuals. Duonic makes stop-start city delivery easier on drivers; the manual is simpler to service in markets where Fuso dealers are far apart. All the trucks we hold use the 3.0-litre turbo-diesel.
Model codes
The code tells you the chassis: FBA is the 2-ton class, FEA/FEB the 3-ton class, and the extra letters mark wide cab, 4WD or long wheelbase. Send us the code and your load, and we'll tell you whether the truck fits.
Importing a Canter
Commercial vehicles often have their own rules. Jamaica, for example, allows commercial vehicles up to 4 years old rather than 5. Our Canters are almost all brand-new-registered, so they qualify. See our guides for Canter to Jamaica and Canter to Kenya. The table below shows how many each country accepts and the cheapest delivered price.
All trucks: Mitsubishi Fuso Canter. WhatsApp us with the body type and payload you need.
