The CT200h is Lexus's compact hybrid hatchback, built from 2011 to 2022. Every CT200h uses the same 1.8-litre petrol hybrid system as the Prius, with an e-CVT automatic. Low running costs plus a Lexus interior make it one of the cheapest ways into a premium car.
Grades
- Version C: the entry grade, with fabric seats and simpler trim.
- Version L: leather, more equipment, softer ride.
- F Sport: sportier bumpers, firmer suspension, sports seats.
The model code is ZWA10 (DAA-ZWA10 or 6AA-ZWA10 on later cars). Early cars (2011–2013) are the cheapest; the 2014 and 2017 facelifts brought a new grille and updated infotainment.
What to check
- Hybrid battery: the most important item on an older car. Higher-mileage examples may need a battery in time; ask us for the hybrid health check if it's listed.
- Mileage vs price: auction sheets record mileage at sale, so a cheap CT usually means high mileage, not a hidden problem.
- Interior wear on Version C fabric and the infotainment controller on early cars.
Who can import one
Being RHD, the CT suits left-driving countries: UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Jamaica, the Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean. Countries with no age limit can take any year; Jamaica (5 years) and Trinidad and Tobago (4 years) only take the newest. For the UK specifically, see Lexus CT200h to the UK.
