Three practical small Toyotas with tall bodies and easy access, popular as cheap family and ride-hailing cars.
Ractis (2005–2016)
A tall compact hatch (a "mini MPV"), 1.3 or 1.5 petrol with CVT. Roomy for its size, with a flat boot floor.
Spade and Porte (2012–2020)
Twins with a big power sliding door on the passenger side and a very low, flat floor. Ideal for elderly passengers, child seats and deliveries. 1.3 or 1.5 petrol, CVT.
What to check
- Sliding door motor (Spade/Porte): it should open fully and smoothly.
- CVT behaviour: smooth take-off, no slipping.
- Ride-hailing or taxi use: the auction sheet notes it.
These are mostly 2007–2020 cars, so they suit no-age-limit markets (Uganda, Tanzania, the Caribbean islands without age caps, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand); recent Spades also fit 8-year limits. The live table below shows which countries' age rules accept how many, and the cheapest delivered to each main port.
