The Celsior is the Japanese-market Lexus LS, sold as a Toyota in Japan until Lexus launched there in 2006. Famous for its silent V8 and build quality, it's also a favourite of Japan's "VIP" style scene.
Generations
- UCF20/21 (1994–2000): the LS400 equivalent, 4.0 V8 (1UZ-FE).
- UCF30/31 (2000–2006): the LS430 equivalent, 4.3 V8 (3UZ-FE).
Grades: A, B, C, and the eR and C-F packages, with air suspension on the higher grades.
What to check
- Air suspension (on equipped cars): it should hold height overnight.
- Timing belt service on the V8s.
- VIP modifications: lowered suspension and big wheels are common; originality adds value.

UCF20/21 Celsiors (and early UCF30s, built in 2001 or earlier) are 25+ years old, so they can go to the USA and Australia under the 25-year rule. See JDM to the USA.
