The 2008 is Peugeot's small SUV, and Japanese-market cars are right-hand drive and automatic only. We hold both generations.
Two generations
- First generation (2014–2019, code A94…): 1.2 PureTech turbo petrol with a 6-speed automatic. Grades Allure, GT Line and Cross City.
- Second generation (2020 on, code P24…): new body and i-Cockpit interior. 1.2 PureTech petrol with an 8-speed auto (EAT8), or the 1.5 BlueHDi diesel (GT BlueHDi). An electric e-2008 also exists.
What to check
- Timing belt on the 1.2 PureTech: this engine uses a belt that runs in oil; service history and belt condition matter. Ask us what the record shows.
- Diesel AdBlue system on BlueHDi cars: the warning lights and range.
- Infotainment and driver-assist on the second generation: everything should work in the photos and video.
Petrol or diesel
The diesel suits long distances and markets with cheaper diesel; the petrol is lighter and simpler for town. Some countries tax diesel cars differently, so check yours first.
Who can import one
Second-generation cars (2020 on) pass Jamaica's 5-year and Trinidad's 4-year limits in most cases; first-generation cars suit no-age-limit markets like the Bahamas, Barbados and the UK. The table below is live.
