The Nissan Caravan (sold abroad as the NV350 Urvan) is the main rival to the Toyota Hiace - the same size and job, often for a little less money.
Versions
- NV350 Caravan (2012–2021) and the facelifted Caravan (2021 onward).
- Petrol (2.0 or 2.5) or diesel (2.5, later 2.4). Diesel is the pick for heavy loads and long distances.
- Long or Super Long body, standard or high roof, and 4WD versions.
- Grades: DX (basic work van), VX, and Premium GX (the better-equipped one).
- Caravan Coach / Microbus: the passenger versions with more seats.
What to check
- Van or bus: cargo vans and passenger vans are registered and taxed differently in many countries.
- Diesel emissions kit on newer diesels.
- Load area condition on work vans.
